How do I submit to Storytellers?


  • Submissions must come from professional representation (manager or agent).

  • Representatives should submit via email two live action, half hour comedy samples (one sample MUST be original) and bio or credits to DisneyChannelStorytellers@disney.com. Samples do not need to be kid oriented.

  • Submissions will be accepted beginning August 3, 2015. The deadline to apply is September 1, 2015.

  • Semi-finalists will be notified November 9, 2015.

  • Representatives must alert Storytellers via email to DisneyChannelStorytellers@disney.com if a submitted writer becomes unavailable during the submission or selection process. 

When do I submit and sign the Storytellers contract?


  • No contracts should be submitted prior to semi-finalist selections
  • Semi-finalists must sign a release agreeing to Storytellers terms before moving forward into the in-person interviews.
